Pittsford Area Schools would like to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the brave officer who lost his life yesterday protecting our community. Thank you for keeping us safe and your heroism will never be forgotten. Thank you to all emergency personnel and police officers who put their lives at risk every day to protect us. Your dedication goes beyond the call of duty and we are forever grateful for your service. The entire Hillsdale County Sheriff's Department is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Come out and support the cross country and track teams this Saturday, June 29th at Pittsford Area Schools. They will be hosting a 5k and 10k run/walk on the cross country course behind the school. The 10k run/walk starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5k run/walk begins at 9:00 a.m. We hope to see you there!

Any girls in grades 8-12 interested in playing volleyball this coming year, please remember that there is an open gym tonight 6-8 and Monday 6-8. Coach Butler and coach Clark

Pittsford Trap Team had strong performances at the state championship on Saturday! The Varsity trap shooters placed 22nd out of 65 schools. Ethan Pickford earned a 25 straight patch. Jenna Dickey finished 19th overall in the girls division and will be heading to Nationals on July 13th in Mason, MI . The Novice Team took 3rd place and had 3 novice shooters finish in the top 15. David Joice finished 11th, Lizzie Bump finished 12th and Mayci Revers finished 15th. Great job to all of our shooters and coaches!

The Athletic department is looking for some one who is interested in running the clock during home football games. If you are this person please feel free to contact Mr Burger.

*Soap Sale* Just a reminder that the Laundry Soap Sale is taking place right now at Pittsford Area Schools. The "store" will be open tonight from 4 - 7 p.m. Enter through the kindergarten door in the back of the elementary school to pick yours up today! 5 gallon tubs of liquid laundry soap and liquid dish soap are on sale for $38. Laundry pods, scent beads and dishwasher gel packs are on sale for $45.

Reminder All! The Sports banquet will be 5-30-24 at 6 pm. This is a varsity only banquet. Furthermore, we are asking, if possible, parents to bring some deserts to share after the completion of the awards ceremony.

Wildcat fans, as our spring sports season wraps up, our baseball, softball, and track teams are participating at various MHSAA tournament venues. The baseball team is playing in Reading at 10 am on 5/31. The Softball teams is playing in Pittsford on 5/31 at 10 am. The girls track is participating in the MITCA invitational this week end on 5-26. While qualifying members of both the the boys and girls track teams are participating in the MHSAA state meet on 6/1. Reminder that all MHSAA events require that your purchase tickets on GoFan. Go Wildcats!

MS/HS Yearbook Orders Order forms were handed out during 5th hour on May 15th. Orders are due by May 24th and the books must be paid for when the order is turned in. If you need another order form, you can pick one up from the HS Office. Order forms can be turned in to Mrs. Cramer in the HS Office or to Mrs. Towers.

The Wildcat Bass Fishing Club competed in their first tournament of the season in Fremont, Indiana on Big Otter Lake on Sunday, May 5th. The tournament was hosted by Complete Fishermen. Anglers included Beau Halleck, Ethan Curtis, Ethan Pickford, Hunter Peiffer and Karmin Butler. Ethan Curtis and Beau Halleck finished in 3rd place. Great job to all of the anglers!
